We celebrated a special birthday at Northrepps Cottage recently. The food was amazing and the service really friendly, all in luxury surroundings. It would be a great venue for a wedding reception.

If you want to eat quality food without sitting in a posh restaurant, then go to The Pigs at Edgefield where the atmosphere is informal and very welcoming. We’ve had many a prolonged business lunch there!

If you’re after a really secluded B & B, then go and stay in Summer Cottage, where you will meet two of the loveliest people, Howard and Elisabeth Rooke. Their beautiful cottage is surrounded by peaceful countryside which bustles with wildlife.
